Our Apple Varieties:
McIntosh - The earliest apple picked in early to mid-September. The “Mac’s” have a wonderful crisp taste, make a great pie and the best apple sauce. Cortland – The second apple to ripen in mid to late September. A Cortland ts similar to a Mac, but a little firmer for pies, and almost twice the size of a Mac! Macoun/Empire/ Honey Crisp - The perfect eating apples. Once you have one, you'll be hooked. These are ready around the last week in September. Red/Golden Delicious - Once these are ready in early October, they will be flying off the trees. Stay tuned to picking reports or you may miss your chance! Rome Beauty - Apple Dave’s favorite, a great baking apple ready in early October. |
